Update from our Hebron PTSA President regarding COVID-19:

As the ISDs around us transition to an on-line or hybrid form of learning, we must appreciate the task that LISD is facing. I ask that everyone remember that this is a new world we all find ourselves in. Please grant your teachers, administrators and board of trustees grace. I am certain they will welcome questions and concerns over whatever is put in place, but they may not be able to respond individually nor immediately. They need your support and your patience as they navigate the days ahead and the unexpected challenges that arise.

If you have not yet done this, please watch the special board meeting held Friday afternoon. The board and superintendent discussed concerns and adjusted policies as needed to set in motion successful distance learning while keeping their employees' (including contracted services) and students' needs in mind.  https://www.lisd.net/Page/276

                               Special Meeting: 3/20/2020

All parents should have received a letter from Dr. Rogers Sunday afternoon with detailed information regarding communication, at-home learning, free meals for children, and internet options. This email has links with recommendations for this next week of learning. Take time to read the email and the linked information so you are prepared for this next week of school.

Be sure you are receiving the latest news from LISD and your child's school. If you are not receiving call outs, emails, and face book posts I recommend you take a moment and review your notification requests in Skyward.
Take care of yourselves, take care of each other.
